Welcome to the Santa Clara County Tax Collector's Office website. We strive to provide accurate tax information and optimum service to the public through the efficient collection of property taxes. Property taxes fund public agencies which provide services and benefits to the residents of Santa Clara County.

DUPLICATE BILLS: We cannot guarantee that you will receive a duplicate bill in time for making a timely first installment payment postmarked by December 10, 2009.

YOU DO NOT NEED A BILL TO MAKE YOUR PROPERTY TAX PAYMENT! Simply look up your tax bill by clicking here, and write your parcel number (APN) on your check. We will create a payment stub for processing once we receive your payment.

NOTICE: If you have an agreement with your lender to pay your property taxes through an impound account, your bill may not include this information. However, please be assured that this does not effect any arrangement you may have with your lender. Please contact your lender directly should you wish to confirm they will be paying your property taxes this year.

NOTICE: For your convenience, we have posted a list of local United States Post Offices that have extended hours of operation here.
