Grand-Parent to Grand-Child Exclusion (Prop. 193) BOE-58-G
CLAIM FOR REASSESSMENT EXCLUSION FOR TRANSFER FROM GRANDPARENT TO GRANDCHILD (PROP193).
Similar to the parent-child exclusion described below, when all parents are deceased, a transfer between grandparents and grandchildren can be excluded from reappraisal. A timely Claim for Reassessment Exclusion must be filed with the Assessor’s Office. Claim forms are available to view and/or print by clicking below. They are also available by calling or writing the Assessor’s Office.
